If you order ahead they'll let you tour the interior. They grow bananas in there! It's free to get inside but it costs $45 to get back out.
By the way, it's called "Biosphere 2", don't let them hear you call it the "biodome" or they'll tie you up and make you watch the Pauley Shore movie.
