Nazca Lines

The mysterious pre-Incan culture of The Nazca etched many impressive geoglyphs on the high mountain plains. The purpose is unknown, but many believe them to be representations of constellations.

"The Astronaut", one of the oddest of the many geoglyphs.

"The Hummingbird", the most beautiful and well-preserved of the lines.

A "durazno" tree from the nearby city of Ica. The fruit looks like a small peach.
